Next week DY are going to perform live our long term ‘’Zastolle’’ project. Is a reflection and documentation of social and political processes in Belarus. The work refers to the traditional Slavic feast, which is ‘’attended’’ by various representatives of the Belarusian society from repressed students to the policeman. Communication is represented in the form of visual symbols sewn into the fabric. The primitive crafts aesthetic of the textile piece resonates with a desperate state of inability to counteract to violence.
